BUTTERFLIES.
On this sunny summer's day s When tlio gentle breezes play, On a mossy log I sit. Watching butterflies that flit Among the trees.
Gentle, harmless, happy things, How I wish I had your wings I Merrily I then would fly, 'Neath the summer sun, and high Among"the trees.
—Original. By Betty Rollett (ago 12), Park Road, Titirangi.
