AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.

SUMMER MEETING.

FINE LIST OF ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the 6ix handicap events to bo run on the opening day of the Auckland Raoing Club's Summer Meeting, and final payments for the Queen's Plate, Great Northern Foal Stakes, Great Northern Derby and 34th Royal Stakes, fell due yesterday, and the number of horses engaged augurs well for the complete success of the gathering. The two events in connection with which most interest was centred in yesterday's acceptances were, of course, the Auckland Cup and Railway Handicap, and with 17 horses paid up for in the first-named race and 21 in the latter, matters have come out pretty much as anticipated. With nineteen horses still engaged in the Great Northern Derby, matters must be accounted to shape promisingly in connection with the leading classic event, for the iasue is on all hands ruled very open. THE ACCEPTANCES. , AUCKLAND CUP; two miles.
