ROTORUA CARNIVAL.
A carnival will bo held in Rotorua on New Year's Eve, starting at 10 p.m., with the assembly of decorated vehicles and other participants in the procession, which is to begin at 11 p.m., following tho judging of entries. Prizes are offered for the best decorated motor-car, and for the best original style nf decoration and also special prizes for decorated motor-cycles, bicycles and motor-lorries TheJe will also be prizes foi originai fancv dress and poster costumes. Particulars are advertised, and further details may be obtained from the town clerk, Rotorua.
