TRAMPING CLUB.
HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENTS. A comprehensive programme of tours in the holiday season has been drawn up by the Auckland Tramping Club. Arrangements have been made for the establishment of a camp at Tapu, on the west coast of the Coromandol Peninsula, and this will be utilised as a base over Christmas. Members will leave Auckland by boat on Christmas Eve and will be away for nine days. Several side-trips will be made from the base, including visits to Mercury Bay, Castle Rock, COIO- - and Te Kouma. Five trips and the annual picnic are to be held in January. Among the places to be visited are the Fairy Falls, in the Waitakeres, and French Bay. Week-ends will be spent at Wattle Bay on the Manukau Harbour, and Te Henga on the West CoasL The annual picnic will be held at Palm Beach on January 20.
