ELFIN PIPES.

Go down to the sea on a wild, stormy day, If the elfin pipes vou'd hear; Twixt the roar of the waves And the hiss of tho spray The soft magic music Will come to your ear And charm you away. Go out at the break of c midsummer morn, If the elfin pipes you'd hear; When the flowers with dew Are wet in the dawn, And fairy feet rustic / Tho grass by the weir, "*. And tramp through tho thorn. Go out on some moon-silvered night to tho wrod. If the elfin pipes you'd hear; If you wait until midnight With dark cloak and hood They'll come down the stream-banks With piping so clear To the heart of tho wood.
