RUMOURS DENIED.
PRINCE GEORGE'S HEALTH. STORY OF RETURN TO ENGLAND. Australian and N.Z. Press Association LONDON. Nov. 27. In official circles a report is denied from Bermuda to the effect that Princo George is returning to England. A British official wireless messago says the Admiralty announces that the Com-mander-in-Chief of tho America and West Indies station reports that rumours have appeared in the press as to tho illness of the Prince, but they are entirely incorrect. His Royal Highness is in excellent health. The rumours referred to were telegraphed by tho Bermuda correspondent of the British United Press. He said: The British cruiser Despatch arrived here on Monday. Subsequently Sir Cyril Fuller transferred tho Admiral s flag from the cruiser Durban to tho Despatch and tho Durban was placed in readiness to convey Prince George on tho first stage of the journey to England.
The Durban, with tho Prince on board, who is suffering from stomach trouble, is now awaiting the signal to sail. However, a severe north-west gale is blowing so the vessel is not expected to leave until tomoirow mornirg.
The plan is for tho Durban to meet a liner from New York in mid-ocean and to transfer tho Prince to her and so save considerable tL:ne in tho trip to England.
Tho Bermud i correspondent said ho had been in close touch with Admiralty House all day and though tho news had not been published it was given to him by tho Admiral's attaches. He said it would be followed to-morrow by more explicit information.
