QUEEN CARNIVAL.
VOTING CLOSES TO-MORROW. Considerable interest in a epiiet way is taking place in the final stages of the Auckland Football Association's Queen Carnival, and very heavy voting is expected to-morrow. The Onehunga, Tramways, Y.M.C.A. and Fonsonbv queens will probably dispute th« finish, though so much voting rncney has been held back that it is quite impossible to really indicate who will win. All payments tomorrow will be mado to the secretary af, Mr. Adeane's office, Queen Street, in sealed envelopes. Payments for voting purposes will close at 8 p.m. The sealed envelopes will be opened by the chairman of tho carnival committee, and tho voting disclosed. Later in the evening the result will be announced at the Auckland Football Association's prize-giving. The coronation ceremony will probably bn held on March 12 in the evening in Blandford Park, which will be brilliantly lighted The evening will consist, of an athletic display, Morris dancing and (he coronation.
Tho queen candidates, carnival committee, coronation committee, and supporters of the clubs are invited to witness the opening of tho scaled envelopes tomorrow.
