WEDDINGS.

A wedding of interest was celebrated at tho United Evangelistic Church, Mount Eden, on Monday afternoon, when Miss Annie Elizabeth Osmanda Forshaw, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs, I!. Forshaw. of Hikurangi, was married to Mr. William Maitland Jones, eldest son of the Rev. Dr. J. F. Jones, of Glen Eden. Tho ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's father, the Rev. J. F. Jones. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore an ankle-length frock of ivory spun crepe do chine with a vandyked neck of white georgette finished with a diamante buckles. Her embroidered tulle veil formed a flowing train and was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a shower bouquet of white lilies, roses and sweet peas. Miss Winnio Sterling, who was bridesmaid, wore a frock of wistaria-mauvo crepo do chino gathered at the waist, and a silver capetto edged with a bandeau of silver leaves. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and mauve carnations, roses and sweet peas. Mr Victor Jones, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. Robert Forshaw was groomsman.

The wedding was celebrated at Knox Climvli, Maslerlon, last Wednesday of Miss Ivy Catherine Evans, daughter of Mr. Frederick Evans, of Otahuao, Mas(piton, to Mr. .Tatnos Cyril Flay, of To Awnmutn, second sou of Mr. and Mrs. •T. Iv. Flay, Tc Haliu, To Awamutu. Tim bride, who was given awav by her father, wove a gown of shell pink georgette, with aecordcoii-pleatod skirt, and veil of palest, pink to tone with her frock, held in place with sprays of orange blossom. She carried a shower bouquet of pale pink roses, carnations and cyclamen, finished with tulle and flowing streamers of white and pale pink ribbon. The bridesmaid. Miss Thelmu Allan, wore, a frock of bine georgette with head-dress of tnllo to tone. The flower girl. Miss Mavis Moran. niece of the bride, was in a frock of mauve crepe de chine. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Albert Flay. The I!ev. John Davie officiated.
