JUNIORS' WIN DISPUTED.
MATCH WANTED BY WAIKATO.
The management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association mot last evening, Mr. E. I'j- Nalder presiding. A letter was received from tho City Club in reference to its recent second grnde mutch against United Suburbs. The latter team led on tho first innings, but play was abandoned during tho afternoon of the second day owing lo rain. City wo 3 under the impression the game was drawn, but nccordin:: to press reports United Suburbs had been awarded a three-point win. It was decided to forward a copy of tho letter -to thu United Suburbs Club, and to ask representatives of both tennis to attend the next meeting of the junior management committee.
Tho Waikato Association mado application for a team to play at Hamilton on Christman Day and Boxing Day. It was resolved to circularise the various clubs to ascertain what players aro available for tho trip. Tho Taumarunui Association made application for the services of one of its coaches for two days. It was decided to reply regretting it was not possible to send » conch, but to point out that Langridge -would play there with Mr. E. C. Beale» team.
Mr. D. V. Moore, for the junior manage incut committee, said Christmas Day and Hosing Day had been suggested for the match between Auckland and Wellington at Eden l'ark tor players under 21 years of ase.
