POWER BOARD'S TOURS.
WA ITEM AT A AREA VISITED. The members of the Waitemata Power Board returned yesterday from a two days' inspection of tho various works in the power district. On Monday evening the guests at dinner at Parakai included Mr. j. C. Rimnier, tho chairman of tho lato Kaina,ra Power Hoard, and Mr. West, ono of the first members of the Waitemata Power Board. Before leaving Helensville Air. J. Mackie, chairman of tho Town Board, conveyed his appreciation as a county member of tho fact that the board had taken such a lively interest in every portion of tho power district. After luncheon at Waiwcra the party visited the East Coast bays and Takapuna, and beforo dispersing were entertained at afternoon tea at Birkenhead by Mrs, E. C. Skeates, tho Mayoress.
