EVENING WITH SCHUBERT.

The Auckland I'iano Students' .Association met on Monday evening. Miss J. Parker presided. Miss DunneX gave an interesting account of Schubert's life, Miss Parker contributed a paper on the master's compositions. "The Erl King" was brilliantly played by Miss Doris liiuns. "Miss Margaret, Treudall gave the dainty "Serenade" (CiUzt'SchubQi't), and Miss Mavis Hewson and Miss Olwyn Bertram played (in duo lorn) /'Marcho Militaire."
