Sir Hubert Wilkins has sent a wireless message via Port Stanley stating that lii 3 first flight in the Antarctic was made to-day. He and Lieutenant Eielson flew in the sumo plane they used in the Arctic.

Tho machine, which has been renamed tho 1.03 Angetes, circled round tho island. Later Sir Hubert tested his second machine, tho Sail Francisco. Although tho temperature was near freezing point tlio engines worked splendidly.
