DAIRY DIRECTORS CONFER.

HINUERA AND TE AWAMUTU.

ASSOCIATION SUGGESTED.

[EY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MATAMATA, Sunday. Visits to each other's factories have been made by the directors of the Hinuera and Te Awamutu Dairy Companies, when opportunity was taken to confer upon matters of mutual interest.

The opinion was freely expressed that there was need of an association of cooperative companies, without any idea of amalgamation, to discuss and tako action in regard to such things as uniformity of cream-grading, purchase of factory supplies, and many other factors of general concern to all. It was suggested that a rovival of the South Auckland body, or tho formation of a new organisation altogether, would be iu the interests of the industry.
