BOY'S LEG FRACTURED.

SEQUEL TO COLLISION

HAMILTON, Sunday

A compound fracture of the right leg was sustained by Frederick Smvthe. aged 14 years, son of Mr. .T. Sniythe, Piopio, in a collision at Piopio on Friday evening between a bicycle the lad was riding and a car driven by Mr. W. Tipping, of Tc Kuiti. Another boy was also riding on the bicycle. The injured boy lost control of his machine when it was running downhill and it crashed into Mr. Tipping's car. Smvthe's companion received cuts and bruises.
