BRIDCE AFTERNOON.

TO AID PLAYING GROUNDS.

The playing grounds of the Diocesan High School will benefit to a very helpful extent by the bridge afternoon held at tho Ellerslio Tea Kiosk yesterday. A committee of ladies had organised it with such success that there were between 75 and 80 tables in use. A more attractive setting than tho gardens around the kiosk, which aro now in full bloom, it would bo difficult to find, and after the rain which fell early in tho afternoon they were particularly fresh and fragrant.
