OBITUARY.
SIR WALTER MANIFOLD. (Received November 13, 10.15 p.m.) M KLI3OUHNE, Nov. 15. Tho death has occurred of Sir Walter Manifold, a former President of tho Legislative Council of Victoria, and a prominent pastoralist, aged 79.
. N"' Waller Synnot Manifold was born in 1849 in Australia. He was educated "f , Melbourne Grammar School and ■diversity, and was a solicitor, Ho had b"'i;e holdings in Queensland and \ icioria, He was a member of the Legislative Council from 1901 to 1924.
