VESUVIUS BECOMING ACTIVE.
LAVA FROM ETNA ABATING. Australian and N.Z. Press Association. (Received November 15, 11.33 p.m.) ROME. Nov. 14. Mount Vesuvius is becoming active as Mount Etna sulfides, but there is no menace at present. The main lava stream from Mount Etna is abating and the flow towards Annunziata lias ceased for 48 hours. In spite,of the diminution the eruptions are still very spectacular. Experts think they will cease within a day or two.
