I.nv TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Tho Management Committee of the New Zealand Cnckot Association last night passed a motion of condolence with Mrs. Poake and her family. Various speakers paid sterling tribute to tho work the late Mr Peake tiad done in the cause of cricket and other sport in New Zealand. Tributes are also contained in messages to the council from all over tho Dominion and Australia. One was received from the Now South Wales State team which played the Englishmen yesterday.
