POLITICS IN FRANCE.
CAILLAUX PUNISHED.
OPPOSITION TO THE PREMIER.
(Received November 14, 7.43 p.m.) Times, Cable. LONDON, Nov. 13. The Paris correspondent of the Times Bays the Sonato recorded its opinion of M Caillaux's shuic in M. Poincare's resignation by exclurjiug him from the Finance Committee. Ho is the only member who was uot re-elected.
Tho result is that M. Poincare's potential rival for tho Finance Ministry is uot only deprived of office, but, in spite of his reputation as a financier, ho is not represented in tho nation's financial counsels. Tho incident is likely lastingly to affect tho moro ardent opponents of tho Premier.
