SUICIDE OF THE ASSAILANT.

(Received November 14, 8.45 p.m.) United Service. MEXICO CITY, Nov 13. An attempt has been made on the life of Jose Toral, the young art student who assassinated Geaeral Obregon. An army captain, a relative of tho murdered man, gained access to the condemned cell where Toral is confined awaiting execution, and drew a revolver. He was disarmed before he could pull the trigger. The captain then returned to his home and committed suicide.
