A syndicate has been formed to establish an important hydro-electric powor scheme, with a capital of several millions of pounds in tho Galloway district of South-western Scotland. Tho Electricity Board will control tho schomc, which will include five power stations. It is proposed that, the electrical power generated shall be carried to the industrial centres, and the scheme will absorb tho existing small organisations.
