ST. PATRICK'S FAIR.' Tlio St. Patrick's Fair, arranged with the object of reducing the debt on several Roman Catholic schools in the citv, will bo opened at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. In addition to stalls for Iho sale of a wide variety of commodities, there will bo numerous sideshows. entertainments, and competitions, including *1 speed championship for Auckland typistes, a laby show', a fancydress parado for children and a poster competition. Concert entertainment will bo provided bv tlie " Magpies ". Costuirio Comedy Company. On Saturday evening and again next Wednesday evening, a cabaret will b« open at the Towu Hall.
