ACCOUNTANT ACQUITTED.
TRANSACTIONS AT BANK. FORGERY AND FRAUD CHARGES. [by telegraph.—press association.] NAPIER, Thursday. The hearing of nine charges, alleging forgery, obtaining credit by fraud and false pretences, against Hercules Robert Hunter, accountant at the Bank of New Zealand, Napier, concluded this afternoon.
The jury deliberated for a little over an hour arid returned a verdict of not guilty on all counts.
