Austin beat P. 11. .Jones. 6 —o. 6 —2; J. C Gregory beat K. Ifowell, 6—2, 6—2; G. Collins beat P. Howell, 6 —l, 6—l; E. Higgs beat L'. \Y. Turei, 6—l, 6—l. Doubles.—Gregory and Austin beat Jones and E. Howell, 6—2, 6- 2: (dibits and Higgs beat P. Howell and iurei, 6-0, 6—l. In a matc h against Dr. Laurenson and Dr. Gray, Gregory and Austin won 6—o. 6—2. Collins and Higgs defeated two Botorua plavers, X. Smith and Thompson. 6—l. 6-0. '
