PIGEON FLYING.

PONSONBY CLUB. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew a raco from .Tohnsonville. an airline distance of 308 miles. Seven birds flew under favourable conditions, a. strong wind helping the competitors. The club will fly a race from Packakariki next week, NORTH SHORE CLUB. The North Shore I'igeon Club contested a race from Tauniarunui, a distance of 114 miles, in ideal weather. Seven birds competed.
