PONSONBY CLUB. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew a raco from .Tohnsonville. an airline distance of 308 miles. Seven birds flew under favourable conditions, a. strong wind helping the competitors. Results:—Mr. W. Cole's r c c Grand National, 11*20 yards per minute, 1: Mr. W. Hillings' blk c Jcrvois Darky. 1413 yds, 2: Mr. S. Franlthnm's b c c Welcome Lad. 1110 yds. 3. The club will fly a race from Packakariki next week, NORTH SHORE CLUB. The North Shore I'igeon Club contested a race from Tauniarunui, a distance of 114 miles, in ideal weather. Seven birds competed. I POINT CIIEVALTER CLUB. The Point Chevalier Pigeon Club continued its old bird racing from Ohnkuno. an airline distance of 18(5 miles, in fine weather. Six birds flew. Results:—Mr. L. The Avalon Pigeon Club conleslerl a race from Te Ivuiti, an airline distance of 100 miles. The rules of this race were that each member could send three birds and.he must clock two.
