ANNUAL AT HOME. | Altogether enjoyable and successful in evcrv way was the annual At Home lof 1110 staff of !lie New Zealand Insurance j I Company, Limited, which was held in the ; i Amateur Operatic Society s Hall last ; j evening. I lie shaded lights, the decora- j I tious of foliage | >laiits and lilies, and the j frieze of photographs upon the walls j made an attractive and interesting setting to the scene, which was added to by the soft colours of the many pretty frocks which were worn. The At Home took j the form of a dance, and music and floor j were all that could have heen desired. Among those who were present were Mrs, H. 1' Kissling. who wore a frock of Mack charmcuso and a Mack shawl embroidered with shaded roses; Mrs. H. M. Didslmry, Mack lace over shell pink crepe de clinic and sapphire Mue wrap; ! Mrs. A. 1. Johns. Mack crepe de chine j with headed embroideries; Mrs. H. Wil ; lis, delphinium blue georgette with shaded shoulder flower; Mrs. Pvcrott, , amber georgette; Mrs. E. lliekson, black lace and pink shoulder posy; Mrs. Nicholson, rose du Barri brocade with panel of gold lame; Mrs. Worthington. green geor- | gette; Mrs. Duder, white georgette patterned with roses: Mrs. Coulthard, black 1 crepe de chine; Miss M. Kissling, black taffeta patterned with small yellow flowers and hem of black net; Miss Campbell, i rose and gold shot taffeta; Miss Gribble, | pink crepe de chine and skirt of frilled net; Miss Mclntyre, blue crepe de chine and silver lace: Miss Anderson, electric j blue taffeta; Miss Owen, flame headed j marocain; Miss l'enman, green figured | crepe de chine; Miss Heard, pale pink | taffeta and georgette; Miss Buckley, blue j taffeta and scalloped hem: Miss Little, t blue beaded georgette; Miss Owsley, green I crepe do chine; Miss Ina Wright, ro>e ; pink georgette beaded in red and crystal. Miss Briscoe wore ecru crepe de chine and scarlet; Miss Rikvs, apricot chiffon velvet and georgette; Miss N. Sims, white , georgette and silvei lace; Miss Joyce Howes, green tulle frock; Miss Shatz, { petunia georgette beaded in gold; Miss j Ina Potter, cyclamen ring velvet ; Miss J L. Johnson, turquoise blue crepe de chine j •and silver lace; Miss L. Stanborough, sil- j ver lame and lace; Miss Hawlev, scar- i let beaded georgette; Miss G.
