"PETS' DAY" AT SCHOOL.
FURTHER OBSERVANCES. "Pets' Day," when children parade their pets at school, was celebrated at, several other city and suburban schools yesterday. Tho day is set asido by tho Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for a special display by schoo' pupils of the animals and birds they cherish in their homes. The parades at. the various schools brought forth a variety of pets—dogs, cats, canaries and rabbits being included. The parades were followed by addresses of a suitable nature to the children.
