METHODIST CHURCH.
WORK AMONG MAORIS. / CELEBRATIONS IN WAIKATO. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OW.V CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Monday. In celebration of the 106 th anniversary of beginning the work oi; the Methodist Church among the Maoris, a native choir and mission party is visiting the Waikato at the invitation of Princess Te Puea Hirangi. The party conducted a special service at the model pa at Ngaruawahia yesterday morning. "King" Rata Mahuta was present. In the evening the party was present at St. Paul's Methodist Church and sang hymns in Maori.
