CRICKET AND RADIO.
NEW E.ROADCASTING SCHEME. [FROM OTJII OWN COKItESrONDENT. ] SYDNEY. Oct. 11. Australia has put up several notable wireless records lately, and it would appear that another record will be established in connection with the wireless broadcasting of cricket test matches. Broadcasting will be able to serve the public in a way hitherto never attempted during the forthcoming tour of the English cricket team. The system, which has been commenced, of linking up principal stations by a land line, will allow all matches, no matter where played, to be heard from every station with equal facility. "fhis will mean that the man in tha baekbloeks in many cases will actually know tho score before those on the ground are aware of it, for the announcer will be able to call tho figures into the microphone before the operator at the scoring board can post them lip.
