The action of the deputation from th« Dominion Federated Sawmillers' Association, which waited on the Prime Minister and the Minister of Industries and Commerce. Hon. A. D. McLeod, on September 20, recommending that the Government take part in the control of the timber industry, was discussed at length in committee by iho Hamilton Chamber of Commerce this evening. It was decided to invite Mr. H. Valder, managing director of Ellis and Burnnnd, Limited who was a member of the deputation, to discuss the matter.
