SENIOR COMPETITION GAMES. PERSONNEL OF THE TEAMS. The senior competition of the Auckland Cricket Association will he opened to-mor-row. Two matches will ho played at Eden Park. Parnell will meet United Suburbs in lht> No. 2 ground and University will play Y.M.C.A. 011 No. X Ponsonby. which tied with Eden for championship honours last season, will play North Shore at North Shore and Eden will meet Grafton at King's College. THE CITY CLUB. FIRST ANNUAL MEETING. The first annual meeting of the City Cricket Club was presided over b.v Mr. G. R. Metcalfe. There was a good attendance of members. Tho report and balance-sheet showed the club had had a very successful year and was also clear of debt. Tbo batting and bowling averages for tho reason were won bv J. Harriman and A. Lo Compte respectively and a. bat was presented to each. The trophies were donated by the coach, Mr. H. Granger. Tho following officers were elected:—Patron. Mr. Ernest Davis: president.
