WEDDING.
The beautiful chapel at King's College was the scene of a very interesting wedding on Wednesday afternoon, when Rona Ethel Eileen, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Martin, of Gladstone Road. Parnell, was married to Eric James, only son of Mr. W. Roulston, well-known in racing circles, and Mrs. Roulston, of Hamilton Road, Ponsonbv, and Pukekohe. Canon Arctidall officiated at the ceremony. The bride, who entered tho chapel on the arm of_ her father, was attired in a graceful gown of ivory ring velvet draped across the front and" caught on the left side with a diamante ornament. The beautiful veil of old Limerick- lace was caught round the head with a circle of orange blossoms and fell in graceful folds over the train of ivory velvet, lined with georgette. The only ornament worn was a long chain of cut crystal. A shower bouquet of white and pink roses and carnations was carried. The four bridesmaids, the Misses Kathleen and Valma Roulston, Miss Ruth Roulston, sisters and cousin of the bridegroom, and Miss Sybil Maekay, cousin of the bride, were frocked alike in shell pink georgette over crepe de chine with fitted bodices and full skirts with uneven scalloped hem line and scarf collars held in place with diamante buckles. Largo hats of pale pink crinoline, trimmed with shaded-pink flowers at the left side and on the drooping brim, were worn, and they carried shower bouquets of pink and white roses, carnations and sweet peas. Mr. H. lvegan attended tho bridegroom and Mr. James Roulston was groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at Ellerslio racecourse, where Mr. and Mrs. Martin received their guests, tho latter wearing a gown of satin beaulo and georgette in two shades of amethyst, with a large black hat trimmed with ospreys. Mrs. W Roulston wore a handsome French gown of finest black-corded silk heavily embroidered in Chinese red and white and inset with oyster crepe de chine and a hat to tone.
