MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. MATCHES ON LABOUR DAY. The management committee of the Aiickland Rugby met lust evening. Air. G. Rhodes presiding. # The Huntly Club advised that ita team would he taking part in tlio Labour lJay competitiqn, and would arrive on Saturday Hikurangi advised that its team was compelled to withdraw from the competition. The junior management committee wrote staling a senior B grado player had played for Remtieia juniors in a recent competition match. ' It was decided to ask the Rpmuerii Club for an explanation. The Athletic Club gave notice to move that tho minute dealing with the A section being limited to seven senior teams be deleted. . • The following matches were arranged in connection with the Labour Day competition:—Huntly v. Manst, Carlaw Park No. 1, !> p.m., Mr. A. Rao; City v. Devon port. Carlaw Park No. 1. 8 p.m., Mr H. McKubrey; Richmond v. Newton, Carlaw lark No. 2, 3 p.m.. Mr. T. Chernside; Ponsonby v Point Chevalier, Carlaw Park No. 2, 4 p.m., Mr P Rogers; Ellerslio y winners of Huntly v. Marist, Carlaw Park No. 1. 4 P The final will bo played on tlio following Saturday. , , .... Third Grade. —Richmond v. Athletic, Western Springs, 3 p.m., Mr. W. Simpson, Huntly v Mount Albert.
