Sir Joseph Ward will return to Welling, ton by train this evening. He has no further public engagements in Auckland. •'
Mr. R. Seymour, of Wellington. Mr. G. Gillespie, of Wanganui, and Mr. F. M. Strange, of Te Aroha. are at the Royal Hotel.
Mr. J. H. Stewart and Mr. F. Evans, of Dunediri, Mr. 11. L. Jones, of Tauranga, and Mr. R. B. Mollgaard, of Te Puke, are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. W. W. Bird, chief inspector of schools, is visiting Auckland. He was at the Training College yesterday, and will return to Wellington this evening.
Mr. J. D. Clancy, of Sydney, Mr. R. Graham, Mr. 11. Waterworth and Mr. E. Jones, of Wellington, and Mr. R. J. Merrilees and Mr. K. Black, of Tauranga, are at the Star Hotel.
Mr. J. S. Laing, who has been chief executive officer of the Auckland branch of Dominion Motors, Limited, for the last ihree and a-half years, will leave Wellington to-inorrow to join a compnay formed in Melbourne for the distribution of American motor-vehicles and aeroplanes. Mr. Laing will be succeeded by Mr. W. G. Brian, formerly of Colonial Motors, Limited.
