WEDDING. | Tho Presbyterian Church, Ohaupo, was I the scone of the wedding on Wednesday j evening. October 3, of Winnie Rebecca, j eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George j Elliott, Lake Iload, Ohaupo, to Hugh Anderson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson, of Casey's Avenue, 1 Claudelands. The Rev. Gilbert performed tho niarriago ceremony. Tho bride, who was given away L>y her father, woro a frock of ivory georgette, embroidered with filet laco. She carried a bouquet of frcezias, roses and maidonlniir fern and was attended by two bridesmaids and a flower girl. Miss Mavis Elliott woro palo green crepe de chine, embroidered in diamante; Miss Flora Elliott, wistaria crepo de chine, relieved with silver, and Miss Ailsa Anderson, maize and mauvo crepo do chino. All carried pretty bouquets of anomones, freezias, sweet peas and roses. Mr. Bruco Anderson and Mr. Bruco Elliott attended tho bridegroom as best man and groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in Lake View Hall, whero tho bride's mother received tho guests wearing black georgette and black model hat. Mrs. Anderson woro navy blue and fawn crepo do chine and black hat. The bride's travelling frock was of fawn silk marocain, with overcoat of velour. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Anderson will make their home in Nukuhou, Bay of Plenty. Wedding Reception. On Monday afternoon, following the wedding of Miss Hilda I. Roach, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Roach, of Whatawhata, to Mr. Seymour Gi'aham Brcwis, only son of Dr. A. S. Brewis, of Jesmond Dene, a reception was held by Mr. and Mrs. Roach at Opoia Road. Mrs. Roach wore a spring suit, hat to tone and fox fur, and Mrs. Brewis woro a frock of fawn and pink georgette, with hat to match. Miss Brewis was wearing beigo georgette, with hat of same shade, appliqued in hand-painted chiffon velvet flow ers. The guests included: Dr. and Mrs. A. S. Brewis, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. L. Swales, Mrs. J. C. Wilson, Mrs. A. J. Roach, Miss Roach, Mrs. G. R, Weir (Wellington), Dr. and Mrs. E. C-. Brewis. Dr. and Mrs. H. Douglas, Mr. J. Gordon, Mrs. E. E.
