Botanical Road, were attacked by a Jersey cow belonging to a neighbour when they were crossing a paddock. One child was knocked down. The alarm was given by neighbours who witnessed tlio incident, and Mr. Nedham seized a rifle and shot the beast just as it charged the other child. Beyond a fright and slight bruises the children were not hurt.
