MOTH AEROPLANE.

HERALD'S GIFT TO CLUB. SHIPMENT IN DECEMBER. The "Gipsy Moth" aeroplane, presented by the proprietors of the New Zealand Herald to the Auckland Aero Club, will be shipped from the factory early in December., according to advice received by Mr. Douglas Mill, managing director of the Air Survey and Transport Company, through which the machine has been ordered. If possible, earlier delivery will be given. All the most modern features will be incorporated in the plane, including the slotted-wing device, which adds greatly to the safety factor, and enables landing to be effected at a comparatively low speed. The engine will be of 100 Lp., considerably more powerful than that fitted to the "Moths" so far imported into New Zealand.
