FAREWELL DANCE.
The staff of the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, held an impromptu dance in the Power Boat Hall, Quay Street, last evening to farewell Miss Billie Rees, who is leaving the service of the bank to take up her residence in Taranaki. The hall was decorated with coloured streamers and Japanese lanterns and the supper tables with arum lilies and spring flowers. During the evening items were given by Miss Jean Reynolds, Coleman, Miss I. Weston and Messrs. N. Gallagher, 11. Brown and R. Sweet. The guest of honour wore a black lace frock with a gold shawl; Mrs. L. Sa-r----ten. shell pink brocade and tulle; Mrs. C. Taylor, silver tissue and rhinestones; Mrs. Henriksen, blue georgette and silver: Mrs. Jansen, lime taffeta; Mrs. Ingram, mauve beaded georgette; Mrs. Smith, red taffeta; Miss J. Parvin, flame georgette; Miss Truman, black velvet; Mi«s° E. McNeil, eau de nil crepe de chine; Miss Mellattie, blue georgette; Miss Coleman, wedgewood blue crepe de chine; Miss J. Reynolds, apricot georgette; Miss E. Wright, cornflower reorgette and beige lace; Miss INI. \V right, rose crepe de chine and sequins; Miss E. \\eston, copper taffeta and velvet; ss Downs, cyclamen beaded georgette; Miss Hitching?, blue taffeta: Miss Kathleen Brown, orange petalled taffeta; Miss Glover, period frock of shaded lace: Miss Foreman, shaded blue crepe de chine; Miss Elsie Jennings, laquer red velvet; Miss A. Davies, rose pink georgette; -Miss I vie. Jennings, powder blue taffeta.
