DANCING.

A carnival night will be hold at Dixieland Cabaret this evening, when the now orchestra will play the latest dance numbers. On Monday evening a special Dominion Day celebration will be held, while next Wednesday there will be a charily ball in aid of the Palestine Plunket Fund. This dance was previously stated to have been held last Wednesday. A race night ball will he held in the Click Clack Cabaret this evening, when dancing will be continued until midnight. Clyde Howlcy's popular Internationals Orchestra will play the latest dance music. In the Orange Hall the Felix Dance Club will hold its usual enjoyable weekly dance. Musical numbers will be provided by the Orpheans Orchestra of eight players. The Parisian Dance Club will hold another of its popular dances in the Kitchener Hall this evening. The latest music will be played by Birtlcy's Society Orchestra. The Auckland City Tramways Club will hold a dance under the auspices of the tennis sub-committee in the Kitchener Hall next Tuesday evening. The music will bo provided bv Edgar Kendall's Jazz Band. A benefit dance will be held by the Soul hern Cross Social League in the Municipal Hall, Newmarket, next Monday evening to assist -distressed soldiers and their families. Meredith's Band will be in attendance. A dance is to be held by the Akarana Yacht Club in the clubhouse, Mechanics* Bay, this evening, Staccy's Orchestra will provide the music. Novelties are to be introduced during the evening. An old-time dance and euchre party will bo held in tho Zealandia Hall. Dominion Road, this evening. Parker's Orchestra will provide (lie music and patrons will be afforded all tho other facilities usual at this dance. The Social Club of Stormonts, Ltd., will hold a social and danco in the Masonic Hall next Wednesday evening. Arrangements for obtaining tickets arc advertised. Nixon's Cabaret, Mission Bay, will be open for dancing this evening. Particulars of the special bus services which have been arranged are advertised. Tho next dance of the Philomel Danco Club will be held on Monday evening in the Operatic Hall. Grafton Road. Tho "best-of-all" old-timo danco will bo held by the Grey Lynn Labour Party at. the O'Neill Street Hall, Ponsonby, this evening. A special bus service has been arranged and particulars aro advertised.
