In the play off of the tie for the club trophy Mrs/ Hav, 88, 15—73, defeated Mrs. Hogan, 93, 19—74. 'I he O grade competition was won by Miss Nora Mason. WHANGAREI CHAMPIONSHIP. Friday The final round of tho Whangarei Golf Club's championship was played on the Mount Denhv links yesterday, over 36 holes, between W. Thomson and W. Donohue, in tine weather. Neither player was in his best form. Thomson won at the 50th hole.
