TO-DAY'S RUGBY MATCH.
LAST REPRESENTATIVE GAME. AUCKLAND AND TARANAKI. FAST CONTEST ANTICIPATED. Hie final Rugby representative match of the season will bo played at Eden Park this afternoon between the Taranaki and Auckland fifteens. The visitors have a good record this season, having played 11 matches and won nine. Two were lost on tour against Manawhenua and Wellington. Taranaki has won all its home matches and is expected to make ..a good showing this afternoon. 'ihe team possesses a bright back team, including Brown and Johnston, two All Black representatives. Watson, who plays for New Plymouth High School, is said to be a very promising back. Providing the Taranaki forwards receive a fair share of the ball its backs should thoroughly tost the Auckland defence. Among the visiting forwards Walter and Kivell are wellknown players, the former having represented New Zealand and the latter the North Island. Auckland will be represented by practically its strongest side. Paewai, who has joined the Maori team in Wellington, has been replaced by L. Hook at centre, and Stoupe will take Hook's place on the wing. If the weather remains fine the game should provide one of the fastest exhibitions of the season. Following arc the teams: Taranaki.
