ANNUAL MEETINGS HELD. THE PONSONBY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Ponsonby Cricket Club was presided over by Mr. Irving Clark. There was an attendance oi about 40 members. The report disclosed that the senior team was bracketed last year with Eden for senior championship honours while the other teams in the club all performed creditably. Reference was made- to the fine influence that the English piofessional, J. Langridge, had on players, and to the very fine performance of b. U. Smith, who scored over 400 runs and secured 48 wickets. Appreciation was expressed of the efforts of the Auckland City Council to provide better playing conditions. , The balance-sheet showed a big improvement in the. financial position, in addition to which a large amount of material in good order was on hand for the coming season. . Trophies were allotted as follows : Senior Cup to S. G. Smith, Junior Cup to J. Mills, and Laidlaw Cup to A. Hoare. H. Rov was presented with a cap for the " hat trick " he secured against, ISorth S1 Officers were elected as follows President, Mr. Irving Clark: vice-presidents, same as last year, with the addition of Dr. Ussher and Messrs. A. Tucker and \ Moore; management committee. Messrs. G. J. Browne, N. C. Siiedden, S. G. Smith. J. Mills, G. Lendrum, and C. Stewart ; hon. secretary, Mr. H. Warneford; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. Warneford; selection committee, Messrs. N. C. Snedrlen. T. Mr.Leod, H. Warneford; delegates to Auckland Cricket Association, Messrs. N C Snedden, S. G- Smith, F. S. Taylor: hon. auditor, Mr. F. S. Taylor. It was decided to commence practice on the first Saturday in October, providing suitable arrangements could be made. THE GRAFTON CLUB. There was a good attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Grafton United Cricket, Club. The report showed the club had experienced a very lean year, but the prospects f,, r the coming season were exceptionally bright. The following officers were elected Patron, Mr. S. Hesketh; vice-patron. Mr. A. Freeman; president, Mr. H. Horspool; vice-presidents, same as last year; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr. h. J. Thomas; hon. auditor. Mr. C. A. It was decided to write the City Council complaining of the state of the club's practice wicket at Victoria Park. OTOROHANGA CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OTOROHANGA. Friday The annual meeting of the Otorohanga Cricket Club was held last evening, Mr. H. G. Corbett presided. The balance-sheet showed a credit, of £2 ss. The report said it was expected that two teams would be put in the field this season. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. P. F. Skinner; president, Mr. R.' F. Park; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. Babe. D. Ross, A. Preseott, IT. Lee, A K. Maynard and Dr. Gilberd; club captain, Mr. H. (i. Corbett; secretary, Mr. S. J. Foitescue; auditor, Mr. C. Tucker; management committee, Messrs. V. L. Fairbrother, W. E. Lawson, 11. G. Corbett and S. J. Foitescue.
