CHILDREN'S BALL.

FUNCTION AT CAMBRIDGE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CAMBRIDGE. Thursday. A very successful children's fancy dress ball ,was held in the Cambridge Town Hall this evening. Over 1200 people were present, including more than 500 children in all designs -f>f fancy dress. The many costumes worn by the children presented a very pretty sight. The ball, which was arranged by {he school authorities, i§ an annual event held to celebrate the "break-ing-up " for the August holidays.
