SERIOUS OFFENCE.

SEAMAN ADMITS CHARGE. A charge of committing a serious offence against a boy aged eight years was preferred against Samuel George Wallace, a seaman, aged 39, in the Police Court yesterday, before Messrs. A. J. Stratford and L. S. Rickerby, J.P.'s. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
