BROADCAST LISTENERS.
OVER 2,500,000 LICENCES. THE FIGURES IN BRITAIN. (Received July 5, 7.45 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, July 4. The Assistant-Postmaster-General, Viscount Wolmer, stated in the House of Commons to-day that the number of broadcasting licences issued in Britain now exceeded 2,500,000.
