AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS.

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR,

Attempting to avoid a motor-car at the intersection of Carlton Gore Road and Park Road yesterday afternoon, Mr. Thomas Veal, of 10, Glasgow Terrace, Grafton, was struck by another car and sustained a fracture of the right leg. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition is not considered to be serious.

A seaman, Mr. Arthur Tomlinson, aged 60 years, of 152, Hobson Street, City, was admitted to the hospital shortly after four o'clock yesterday afternoon with a fracture of the leg. In the evening he was reported to be progressing satisfactorily.
