SURVEY OF KAITUNA VALLEY.
ADDITIONS TO POST OFFICE.

ROTORUA, Thursday
The Rotorua Chamber of Commerce met last evening, the chairman, Mr. J. Banks, presiding. The Minister of Public Works advised that it was intended to have a survey and investigation made in the Kaituna Valley, with the wood-pulping industry in view. It had also been decided to erect additional accommodation at the post office, to allow of it being made a ledger office. Work would be started shortly. Advice was received from the Minister of Agriculture that Mr. C. S. Dalgleish had been appointed resident instructor to assist farmers tn the Bay of Plenty district. ■ >- " . •
