WEDDINGS.
The wedding was solemnised at All Saints' Church, Matamata, on June 27, of Millicent Margaret, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Harding, Tauranga-o-moana, Matamata, to James, only son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Fleming, of Waitoa. Mrs. E. Ryan played the wedding music and the Rev. C. W. Turner performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory embossed chenille georgette, - draped at one side and ornamented with pink roses and spray of silver. A train of pink blush georgette was attached to the shoulder. Miss Effie Harding attended her sister as bridesmaid, and wore a frock of powder blue shot taffeta, with French embroidery on the skirt. Miss Anne Sutherland was the second bridesmaid, and wore shell pink taffeta, with georgette trimming. Lola Harding and Joan Fav were trainbearers. The bridegroom was attended by his cousin, Mr. P. Montgomery, and Sir. R. Teng as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at .the Kensington.
The wedding took place at St. James' Presbyterian Church, Pukekohe, on Wednesday, of Miss Mina Elizabeth McKinna, fifth daughter of Mrs McKinna, of Albert Street, Pukekohe, and the late Mr. Peter McKinna, to Mr. Charles Kaspar Lawrie, second son of Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Lawrie, of Victoria Street, Pukekohe. The cere-' mony was conducted by the Rev. S. Nixon. The interior of the church had been prettily decorated for the occasion, She central feature being a large floral wedding bell suspended over the aisle. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother-in-law, Mr. Ewan Soutar, wore a frock of ivory crepe tie chine trimmed with silver lace and orange blossoms.- Her head-dress was a Brussels veil and coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers, asparagus and maiden-hair fern. The bridosmaid was Miss Jean McKinna, sister of the bride, who wore a frock of powder blue crepe de chine and liulle mop cap. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white roses and autumn lea^® 3 - Mr. George D. Lawrie, brother of bridegroom, was best man.
