The report to be submitted to the annual Meeting of the Franklin branch of tho Auckland Automobile Association, which is to be held in the town hall, Tuakau, on June 20, states that during the 12 rnonths ended May 31 the membership of the branch increased from 154 to 293. The finances were also in a healthy condition, there being a sum of £l5O to hand over to the head office of the association on the conversion of the branch to an agency. The report refers fo the functions arranged by the branch during the year. Farther sign-posting was done in tho branch's territory. The camping site at Pukekohe was well patronised. Efforts are* being made to have a camping site provided at Tuakau, and it is hoped that Waiuku, too, will provide a site. During ♦he year, Mr. F. A. Hosking was appointed solicitor to the branch. Xhe report also makes appreciative reference to the work of Mr. H. Curd, a member of the branch executive, as a member fei the council of the association^
