WEDDINGS.

The Methodist Church, Onehunga, was effectively decorated on Wednesday for the marriage of Edna, only daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. G. 11. Farker, of Mangere, to Edward Raynor, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, of To Awamutu. The bride was dressed in cream crepe do chine with a veil worked in silver, and caught in place with a wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink and white cyclamen. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Eileen Jackson, cousin of the bride, wore pale blue crepe do chine trimmed with cream lace and head-dress of blue silk tulle with a wreath of flowers. .She carried a bouquet of irises fastened with streamers. The second bridesmaid, Miss Ethel Johnson, wore pink crepe do chine and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. St. Andrew's Church, Claudelands, was the scene of tho wedding on the evening of Juno 6, of Mae, eldest daughter of Mrs. A. M. Pearson, of Hamilton, and the late Mr. 11. Pearson, of Bowral, New South Wales, to William Victor, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Grant, cf Wayby, North Auckland. The Rev. H G. Gilbert performed the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, wore a gown of white georgette, with over-dress of silk lace and pearl trimmings, and a veil of white embroidered tulle, 1 with a coronet of pearls and orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of carnations, sweet peas and maidenhair fern. The three bridesmaids. Misses Joyce and Eileen Pearson, sisters of the bride, and Miss Mary Grant, sister of tho bridegroom, woro early Victorian frocks of sunset pink georgette and silver tissue, with mop caps and scarves of pale pink tulle, with diamante trimmings. Each carried bouquets to tone. Mr. W. C. Pearson was best man. In St. George's Church, Kingsland, on Tuesday afternoon the wedding took place of Edna Dorothy, third daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. Rutherford, of Kingsland, to Mr. Richard James Charleston, second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Charleston, of Karamu. The Rev. Macfarlane performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. W. Rutherford, wore a frock of flesh pink georgette with an over-dress made with a double-tiered skirt of silver lace. The worked tulle veil was caught to the head with a chaplet of pearl medallions and orange olossom, and a bouquet of white chrysanthemums with pink roses was carried. The bridesmaids, who were dressed in different colours, were Miss Gladys Rutherford, who wore iris mauve crepe de chine with scalloped hem of silver lace and silver rose on the shoulder; Miss Mary Charleston, in jade green; and Miss Emily Charleston, in apricot crepe de chine. Bandeaux of tulle with silver rosettes and leaves were worn to match each gown and shower bouquets in pink mauve and autumn tints were carried. Little Dorothy Budge, niece of the bride, wore an accordeon-pleated pastel blue georgette frock and rosebud head-dress. She carried a gold basket of flowers. Mr. W. Charleston was best man and Mr. W. Rutherford groomsman.
